Born in Billings, Montana, Tim O’Leary enjoyed a long career as a creative force in the advertising and television industries, and as a non-fiction writer, before embarking on a full time literary career in 2015. Since then his award-winning stories have been published in a wide variety of magazines, journals, and anthologies. His non-fiction book, Warriors, Workers, Whiners, & Weasels was published in 2006, and his short story collection, Dick Cheney Shot Me in the Face, And Other Tales of Men in Pain, was released in 2017. He is currently completing his new novel, Mussellshell. He graduated from the University of Montana, and received his MFA from Pacific University. Tim and his wife Michelle and their yellow lab Lemon split their time between homes in The Columbia Gorge, and Santa Ynez, CA.
